We want to make sure as many people get to enjoy our games as possible and we strive to make our experiences as affordable as we can. We appreciate that for some, price can be a barrier and that’s why we founded Escapism Unlocked CIC to help more people from the local community, who might otherwise face barriers to access, to enjoy our experiences.
In addition to that, we have set up the following permanent discounts for families, students, key workers, carers and other concessions. Please check the terms and conditions for your eligibility before booking. Due to differences in room capacities and the booking dynamics, there may be differend discount codes to use depending on whether you are booking an escape room experience or social deduction game. Check your eligible category below for full details.

Due to the restricted maximum number of players that can participate in any given experience, we can not offer separate adult/child ticket prices at The Escape Rooms, however this discount can be used to help families attend The Escape Rooms and is not restricted to school holidays only, so as to be inclusive of children who are educated outside of the traditional school setting as well as those with additional needs.
Terms and conditions:
Offer: 15% discount on the total booking cost using code FAMILYWEEKDAY. Enter in the “Promo Code” box at checkout and press “Apply” before completing payment. Discount cannot be applied retroactively and must be applied at the time of booking
Eligibility: Minimum of 3 players required. The group must include at least one school-age child and at least one adult (18+).
Validity: Valid for bookings on weekdays only (Monday to Friday), for sessions starting before 5:00 PM.
Exclusions: Valid for our permanent escape room experiences only. Not applicable to seasonal pop-ups or temporary events. Cannot be combined with other discounts or corporate packages.

Emergency & Key Workers
A 15% discount on all Monday-Friday bookings for all emergency and key workers (fire, police, ambulance, NHS, teachers & social care staff). Cannot be redeemed for any bookings in December.
Terms and conditions:
Offer: 15% discount on the total booking cost using code BLUELIGHT15. Enter in the “Promo Code” box at checkout and press “Apply” before completing payment. Discount cannot be applied retroactively and must be applied at the time of booking
Verification: A valid Blue Light Card or official work ID (e.g., NHS badge, staff ID, or recent payslip) may be requested by a member of the team upon arrival. Eligible worker must be a participant in the booked experience.
Validity: Valid for bookings on weekdays only (Monday to Friday). This offer is not valid for Saturday or Sunday bookings and cannot be used throughout the month of December.
Exclusions: Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, or corporate packages.
Management: We reserve the right to refuse the discount if valid ID is not provided.
ESCAPE ROOM GAME discounts
10% off both individual tickets or full private games of any of our permanent social deduction games (Blood On The Clocktower/Sabotage). For all emergency and key workers (fire, police, ambulance, NHS, teachers & social care staff). Cannot be redeemed for any bookings in December.
Offer: 10% discount on individual seat tickets for public games and 10% off the total booking cost for private games. Enter in the “Promo Code” box at checkout and press “Apply” before completing payment. Discount cannot be applied retroactively and must be applied at the time of booking
Eligibility: Available to NHS, emergency services (police, fire, ambulance), armed services, teachers, and social care staff.
Verification: A valid Blue Light Card or official work ID (e.g., NHS badge) must be presented by the cardholder upon arrival.
Valid Games: All permanent social deduction games (Blood On the Clocktower/Sabotage) .
Exclusions: Excludes special off-site events, temporary pop-ups, and seasonal experiences. Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.
Management: We reserve the right to refuse the discount if valid ID is not provided on the day.
SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAME discounts
students & higher/further education staff
15% off all Escape Room games for all currently enrolled students, and education staff. Monday-Friday only and excluding all of December.
Terms and conditions:
Offer: 15% discount on the total booking cost using code STUDENT15. Enter in the “Promo Code” box at checkout and press “Apply” before completing payment. Discount cannot be applied retroactively and must be applied at the time of booking
Eligibility: Minimum of 3 players required. Available to all students currently enrolled in further or higher education as well as school/college/university staff.
Verification: A valid student ID card with a photo (e.g., NUS/TOTUM, university ID) must be presented by the cardholder(s) upon arrival.
Validity: Valid for bookings on weekdays only (Monday to Friday). Not valid for Saturday or Sunday sessions and cannot be used against any bookings in December.
Exclusions: Cannot be used for 2-player games. Cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, or corporate packages. Valid for permanent escape room games and social deduction games only.

ESCAPE ROOM GAME discounts

No Minimum Players: This offer applies to seat purchases for public games but can also be redeemed against the total cost of a full private game.
Verification: A valid student ID card with photo must be presented upon arrival.
Exclusions: Excludes special off-site events, temporary pop-ups, and seasonal experiences. Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions or combined with any Patreon Subscriber discounts.

SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAME discounts
community access/concessions
10% off all eligible bookings for players in receipt of state support or disability benefits. This community rate is designed to ensure our experiences remain accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstances. Due to differences within the Terms & Conditions, different codes will be required depending on whether you are booking an Escape Room or Social Deduction game.
10% off the price of any Monday-Friday Escape Room game when booking for 3 or more players.

companion & carer tickets
Wherever needed, all guests who require additional support can attend with a companion at no extra cost. Maximum and minimum capacities for each room or experience must be followed.
Unlike our other promotions, companion tickets can be added retroactively after booking if required, provided the room/game capacity allows. If you have already made a booking and need to add a companion ticket, please email us at info@escapenewport.co.uk with the name on the booking and the date/time of your session.
Due to our booking system requirements, we use different codes for Escape Rooms and Social Deduction games. Please use the appropriate code for your chosen experience:
To book, please select one fewer player than the total number attending. For example, for a group of four (where one person is a companion), make a booking for three players and apply the promo code at checkout. This ensures you are charged the correct amount while alerting our team to the companion's attendance.
Please check the maximum capacity for your game. Most rooms have a limit of 6 players; therefore, a 5-player booking is the maximum allowed if you wish to add a companion.
Terms and conditions:
Offer: One free companion/carer ticket when accompanying a guest who requires support. Use promo code ERCOMPANION in the “Promo Code” box at checkout and press “Apply” before completing payment.
Requirement: A minimum of 2 full-paying players must be present in the booking to qualify for the free carer ticket.
Capacity: The carer must be factored into the maximum capacity of the room for safety and game-flow reasons (e.g. if a room has a max of 6, the group can be 5 players + 1 carer).
Verification: We understand that not all disabilities are visible, therefore proof of eligibility may be required on arrival at reception. Accepted forms of proof include:
A Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) letter (dated within the last 2 years).
A valid Blue Badge.
A Nimbus Access Card with the +1 symbol.
A CEA Card.
Privacy: We do not store any of this data; it is a visual check only upon arrival.
Exclusions: Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional codes or corporate packages.
ESCAPE ROOM GAMEs
For individual seat tickets on public social deduction games we will need to include the companion in the total number of participants attending. We’re sorry to say this is a bit fiddly as there’s not an easy way to make this work with our booking software. You will need to book 2 seats for your player and their companion, in a single transaction, and then, if additional players are required, these must be booked separately, without using any promotional code.
Terms and conditions:
Offer: One free companion/carer ticket when accompanying a guest who requires support. Select 2 seats on any public social deduction game and use code SDCOMPANION in the “Promo Code” box at checkout. Press “Apply” before completing payment.
Requirement: A minimum of 1 full-paying player must be present in the booking to qualify for the free carer ticket.
Capacity: The carer must be factored into the maximum capacity of the room so for games with a maximum of 15 players would have a maximum of 14 + 1 carer.
Verification: We understand that not all disabilities are visible, therefore proof of eligibility may be required on arrival. Accepted forms of proof include:

Use the discount code listed above for concessions/community access discounts to deduct 10% off the price of a private game, with any player attending who may need a companion to join them in one of these games.
